Updating the Technology Data from the Danish Energy Agency about Water Electrolysis
If we want to make Power-to-X that great tool that industries need to overcome their decarbonisation challenges, knowledge sharing is essential.
Ramboll, my current employee, fosters this culture which is shown by the continuous flow of whitepapers, numerous communications and the recent Thought Leadership initiative where I am proudly belonging.
Regarding water electrolysis, today, I would like to share with you the recent work that we did for the Danish Energy Agency updating this specific topic in the Technology Data about Renewable Fuels.

As we have reported in our recent whitepapers, it is very important to realise that the production of what we call Green Hydrogen is much more that having an electrolyser. Successful and cost-effective Power-to-X solutions will come by putting successfully many different equipment, competences and skills.
Despite the complexity, lots of good knowledge has been gained recently showing us the manner to build this challenging puzzle. Focus on projects where abundant and cheap renewable electricity is available and large support in terms of Research and Development to make our technologies more efficient and cost-effective are pathways that need to be repeated once more.
Finally, big thanks to the people contributing to this work and reviewing it, a very collaborative efforts across continents and both private and public institutions.
